MUSIC &
THE ARTS

Music can be a powerful tool for expression and alternative communication. Our talented staff can offer specialised approaches to music for everyone.
The creative arts workshops are for all ages and abilities and they provide the chance to explore art using different materials and mediums. We also offer these services in an outreach capacity.
Every year we hold various music and arts events which is a great chance for all to get involved. There is the annual Christmas Concert and the Summer Art Auction, two amazing events which have become a great part of the year.

Sessions are booked on a one to one or group basis depending on what you are looking for. Some members have been coming to weekly music sessions for many years and within this time they have had opportunities to perform at concerts, learn new skills, made a CD or simply just make music for fun.
For people who would rather join an existing music group we have 3 workshops.
Sounds Inclusive is a lively weekly music group which anyone can drop into and join in by choosing songs and playing instruments.
Every Wednesday at St Johns Youth Community Centre, 11-12
Rock School is a popular electric music making workshop.
Monday (please see dates - Activity Days & Clubs) at Pitmaston Primary School 5-6

ART
The creative arts workshops are for all ages and abilities. Art sessions can be booked on a one to one or a group basis. It is a chance to explore art using different materials and mediums. Some members enjoy getting messy using lots of paint or clay, whilst others are more considered artists, maybe using watercolour paints or creating a
pencil drawing, the choice is yours. We promote exhibition opportunities within the community and our annual art auction to celebrate disability in the arts.
We also have group art sessions at Activity Wednesday and Friday Club.
